The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) is a non-profit international organization founded in 1950 that serves to advance the science and practice of hepatology. It annually hosts The Liver Meeting®, which is the largest worldwide scientific conference on liver diseases. AASLD also publishes two major scientific journals on liver disease: HEPATOLOGY and Liver Transplantation.
